Helping Mamas confidently teach their toddlers at home in a child-led environment
I’m so overwhelmed with all the choices.
I don’t want to miss an important skill.
I’m having a hard time trusting this child-led process and feel like I need to control all the learning.
I struggle with knowing what’s developmentally and age appropriate.
I just really have no idea where to start!
…your child was 100% engaged in almost every learning activity you planned.
…your toddler would learn those important concepts without much effort from you.
…you had a Tot School system that helped you stay organized, but was flexible enough to follow your child’s lead.
…you understood exactly how your toddler learns and could use that information to help you teach your toddler.
Guess What? It’s Possible!
Teaching Toddlers at Home is a 5 module course which helps you understand your toddler’s needs and how to confidently follow their lead to teach them everything they need to know.
I walk you through the step by step process on getting started with Tot School followed by practical ideas on toddler development, learning styles, and challenges you may face.
You can find themes and activities all over the internet, but I help you take it a step further by understanding your toddler, their development, and how to teach them.
This course is designed for the stay at home or homeschooling mama who wants to ensure their toddler gets the best possible start to their education by developing a love of learning and a strong foundation for education.
“I was very hesitant with purchasing Teaching Toddlers at Home because of the cost, but it was worth it. I was struggling with finding age appropriate activities for my son, but Amanda’s strategies have helped me approach learning in a way that helps my son. Now we follow his lead which sometimes is nonexistent and other times can last up to 35 minutes. I really loved how each lesson had action items that I could implement right away.”

I’m Amanda, and I’m the founder of Sicily’s Heart and Home where I teach mamas just like you how to teach your toddlers and preschoolers at home. Before becoming a stay at home mom, I was a teacher. I have a BS in Elementary Education and AA in Early Childhood Education. Most of my teaching career was in preschools and head start programs. I adore teaching toddlers.
I decided to leave public school teaching to homeschool my own children. I designed this course because I noticed other mamas were having such a hard time getting started with teaching their own toddlers in a child-led environment.
I love using my teaching knowledge to help other parents who know child-led is the right approach for their child, but aren’t quite sure how to go about it.
The Why: The learning domains of early childhood education help keep us on track for developing a well rounded child by focusing on educating the whole child. They set a guideline for us to follow to make sure we are equally developing every part of the child.
The Why: Every person learns best through their unique learning style. When we know how to identify our child’s learning style we can plan activities that utilize the strong learning styles to help our children learn faster and deeper.
The Why: The biggest challenge I hear from my readers is that they have no idea where to start with Tot School. That’s what this whole module is about. I walk you through my systematic step by step process to setting up and preparing for Tot School. Once you get all set up, starting Tot School will be a breeze.
The Why: We will be learning a lot about a toddler’s development and different types of activities. This module will give you a process to make sure you hit it all to help develop a well rounded child while still maintaining a child-led environment.
The Why: There is no doubt about it! You will run into challenges. This module is all about those challenges and my practical solutions for each challenge.
The Teaching Toddlers at Home Course makes it all super simple from setting up to enjoying your days learning with your toddler.

Can’t I just find the information online for free?
You can find all sorts of information for free online, but it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s valuable. I spent hours searching Pinterest and Google for the perfect solution to my Tot School issues, but never found the perfect answer. In this course, I teach you how to create an environment that works best for your unique toddler and family situation.
Can’t I just let my toddler play all day?
Of course! The majority of your day should be free play, which we learn about in this course. But you should also be exposing your toddler to some academic concepts and developing a strong love of learning, which is what Tot School is all about.
“Tot School was leaving me overwhelmed. I didn’t even know where to begin. Amanda’s course helped me become aware of each learning domain and now I make a conscious decision to make sure each domain is covered every week. My son is enjoying the new variety of activities. Teaching Toddlers at Home was easy to follow and understand with straightforward ideas that were easy to implement. I loved the concrete ways to organize our space and the easy method of scheduling our day. You can take her ideas directly from the course and apply them.”
