Baking cookies, reading books, singing Christmas carols, and watching Christmas movies with the kids. What I enjoy the most is reading cute little Christmas stories to my little ones. The Christmas WishThe Christmas Wish has a ton of gorgeous photography. It’s about a little girl who takes a trip to see if Santa will grant her Christmas wish.
Little Blue Truck’s ChristmasLittle Blue Truck’s Christmas is a cute little Christmas counting story! Counting books are a great way to add in some learning with your storytime! My 3 year old loves counting books.
How the Grinch Stole Christmas(This is one of my all-time favorite Christmas stories! My kids all love it, too! If you have any Dr. Suess fans, this book is a must! Some of Dr. Suess’s books are a little lengthy for toddlers or even preschool-aged children, but my son has enjoyed them from a really young age. The rhyming and silliness throughout the book always kept his attention.
Merry Christmas, Mouse!Merry Christmas, Mouse is a Christmas counting book by the author of “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.”
Olive, the Other ReindeerOlive, the Other Reindeer is about a dog who thinks she is a reindeer. So she takes a trip to the North Pole to help out Santa at Christmas time.
A Charlie Brown ChristmasA Charlie Brown Christmas is another great classic! I couldn’t make this book list without adding it!
Snowmen at ChristmasThis book is a companion book to Snowmen at Night where the book talks about what snowmen do when we go to sleep. This book has a similar theme, except it’s about what snowmen do at Christmas.
Rudolph the Red-Nosed ReindeerI have always loved the story of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer! It’s a classic that every child enjoys!
Personalized Twas’ The Night Before ChristmasLast, but certainly not least, Twas’ the Night Before Christmas is a great book for kids to read! We read this every single year on Christmas Eve. This book is a customized version that adds in your child’s name!
